Chris is the founder and director of North Dublin Opera. He holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama and, since graduating, has endeavoured to create a platform to bring opera to the wider community as well as enabling performers to showcase their craft. 

Ksenia Badalinova

 

Ksenia, one of the company's pianists, is a graduate of Jazepa Mednja Music College in Riga.

In Ireland Ksenia continued her education, receiving Associate Diploma in Piano Performance with distinction from Trinity College London (ATCL) and achieving a distinction in the highest grade in piano with ABRCM. For two years Ksenia was one of the leading teachers and accompanists in the Peter Dee Academy of Music in Limerick until she moved to Dublin. She played an active part in the Academy’s life organising concerts and encouraging students of all ages and levels to take part. She has also taken part in masterclasses with Jonathon Plowright, Barry Douglas, Ian Johnes and Dr Desmond Hunter and Tony Miceli. She took part in the Feis Ceoil competitions and won the Petroff Cup in the DIT house competitions.

At the moment Ksenia is studying in the DIT Conservatory of Music with Dr David Mooney (piano).

Catriona Grimes

Catriona Grimes is a pianist and piano teacher who lives in north county Dublin.
